HI! I'M CHERISH & i need help!

Hailing from Harlem New York, I am a graduating senior at Spelman College. I am soo close to becoming a Spelman Woman but, this semester I am ineligible for aid, making an already expensive tuition impossible. 

Becoming an adult while attending school AND providing for yourself has proved to be quite the challenge. I have decided to create a GoFundMe after a year of struggling and a goal of $40,000 on GoFundMe to: 

1, Mitigate the fees taken by GFM.

2, Secure more than enough to cover my Fall semester in full & my spring out of pocket costs (including Sub & Unsub loans.)

3, If able to raise the full amount, use remaining funds to support my living costs so I don't have to work while in school.

For most of my life I had a single mom who moved mountains to make sure that I had everything I needed and then some.

Losing my mother has been the hardest challenge of my life, but I learned how to be a resilient problem solver from her.

I am currently trying to move a small island of my own, raising money for my senior year.

Raising money for school amidst everything happening in the world is a complex feeling but I am confident that finishing my degree is part of making my choice to change the world.
